Graham Gould from Australia

Graham spent ten years in a band STONEY CREEK. The band carved a name for itself on Australia’s country music circuit, head lining at most of the major music festivals in the eastern states. The band leaned heavily on their harmonizing abilities and were often called upon as a back up band for many top artists. We were also the backing band for the contestants in a major talent quest in the early 80s, an event that was to launch the careers of several of today’s stars such as Keith Urban.

During this period Graham was writing more songs than Stoney Creek could use, so he entered the New Zealand Gold Guitar Awards winning Best Composition with Lady Right and won fourth prize also.

2006 saw the independent release of the album Soundboard which was played on radio throughout Australia and Europe. Goodbye Lover, Hello Friend was released on a compilation album and released to 25 countries by NITE*SKY Records of Ohio, and TKO Records in Canada, which made the Top10 in eight European countries including his first No. 1 in Ireland and a No. 2 in Italy and Austria.

The Soundboard album was nominated for Album Of The Year at the Country Music Awards in January 2008 which was a wonderful stamp of approval for a self produced album which also gathered 20 Top 10s throughout Europe to date.

In 2013 the latest album, Off The Cuff was released and featured him as producer and playing most instruments. The album scored airplay from the US to Europe.

Graham has since produced another two albums for local artists and he is busily working on a new album featuring production music for film and television. He has also started on a follow up album to Off The Cuff which is still in it’s early stages.

Graham fell in love with my song February Heartache and asked if could produce a country version of the song. I love it and hope I can work together with him again in the future.
