Latest projects

I'm continuously working on new music projects and lately I've been focusing more on collaborating with talented writers, musicians and producers rather than writing songs on my own. To write songs that other artists and/or bands can cover and market themselves still remains my primary target.  If anybody is interested in any of these songs, don't hesitate to contact me.

Ray Bertram

wpe3.jpg (35635 Byte)

One of my new music partners is Ray Bertram, an extremely talented songwriter from Arkansas. I met Ray in one of the internet's songwriter forums. I picked up one of his lyrics there and wrote the appropriate music for the song. In a later project Ray wrote the lyrics for one of my instrumental tracks. Ray and I have become good friends and I have lost track of the number of songs that we have written together. Lately we have been teaming up to write lyrics for other songwriters around the world. It looks as if this will become a long-lasting songwriting collaboration.

Antony Wolfson

Antony Wolfson.jpg (42266 Byte)

Antony Wolfson, from the U.K., is one of the most talented singers I've ever met. His music is a wonderful mix of musical styles, infusing classic and rock through his unique interpretations of melodies. Antony is well-known in northwest London where he often performs. His EP is available in many countries around the world and he is planning the release of his first album. Our first song is called "As Long As I", a beautiful ballad which sounds as if it were specifically written for Antony. Antony will be performing this song live in the future.

Anders Larson

wpe3.jpg (162964 Byte)

Anders Larson is a very talented young songwriter, singer and producer from Sweden. Anders started playing guitar at the age of 12. Now he plays not only the guitar but also bass and piano. He formed his first band at the age of 14, a power metal formation called "Impale". He later became a guitarist in the nuclear blast band "Brimstone". Currently Anders is the lead songwriter and singer of "Captain Crash", a promising newcomer rock band that will soon release their first album.

Anders is a guest artist on the track "That's Good Enough For Me". He co-wrote the song and contributed all the vocals in that production. His input gave it the up-to-date rock sound that song needed to make it shine. I would like to thank him for the effort he put into this production.

Donovan Plant

Donovan.jpg (212899 Byte)

Donovan Plant is a talented singer / songwriter / producer from the San Francisco. Bay area who started playing the guitar at the age of 12. After cutting his teeth playing San Francisco's north beach club circuit for years, Donovan has found his groove as a songwriter. He blends rock, country and folk influences to achieve a uniquely sentimental sound.  His vocals have an extremely high recognition value. We have several ongoing projects at the moment and I enjoy collaborating with Donovan.

Vince Denimarck

Vince Denimarck.jpg (49861 Byte)

Vince Denimarck was born in Brooklyn, New York and now lives in Florida. An early singing interest and a sensational voice have given this country singer many avenues of vocal styles. He imitates and impersonates country stars of today. He's a performer who calls the stage his home. Vince and I teamed up for the first time to record and produce an upbeat country song called "Redneck Country Party". This song is a 3-way collab between Ray Bertram, Vince and myself. I'm looking forward to recording more songs together with Vince. He's a fun guy to work with and very professional.

26-year old LeeAndrew Bray is a musician, performer and songwriter from a little town called Adairsville near Atlanta, Georgia.  He's played guitar in numerous bands for almost twelve years. LeeAndrew used to be a member of the Southern Limits Band and Babe's Bayou from the Atlanta area and he's also played music with groups such as Catch Penny, Charlie Daniel's Band and members of Gretchen Wilson's band. He was chosen as the Georgia Country and Gospel Music Association's 2005 "Songwriter of the Year', the 2006 "Horizon Award Winner", the North American Country Music Association International's 2006 New Gospel Male Entertainer of the Year, and the North American Country Music Association International's 2007 "Horizon Award Winner".

LeeAndrew writes all of his own music and seldom records songs written by others but I'm very glad he made an exception and collaborated with me.

He is writing and preparing to finish his first album "Drive". The album should be available in 2011 and will be a mixture of country, gospel, blues, pop, bluegrass, rock and Americana styles. I wish him lot of luck.

Mark Sapsford

Mark Sapsford.jpg (31998 Byte)

Mark Sapsford is an extremely talented lyricist from London. The speed of his songwriting always amazes me. Mark is the founder of Standing Ovation Music Management & Promotion, a company that focuses on artist management. He has close connections to a strong line-up of singers and musicians in the U.K. Mark has for example brought me and Antony Wolfson together. I'm looking forward to writing together with Mark again in the future.

Robert DePriest

Robert DePriest, a gifted songwriter from Nashville, has been collaborating with international singers/songwriters/producers for years. He first contacted me in late 2008. Together with Anders Larson from Sweden we jointly wrote "That's Good Enough For Me". Robert also contributed the lyrics for a new song called "Confession" which he wrote together with Matt Ingram and my son Leon.

Fred Tadge

Fred Tadge.jpg (43001 Byte)

Fred Tadge, a singer/musician/songwriter/producer from Germany started playing the guitar at the age of 10. He was 19 when he had his first big success as a singer and guitarist of the hardcore punk band "Governmental Whores". He later played in the rock band "Death To Eve". Fred released his first solo album in 2007 which contained pop / rock songs that he recorded and produced himself. Fred is now working on his second album. He re-recorded "Son Of Superman" and gave the song a much more rock feeling. I am very happy with the results and would like to collaborate with him again in the future. I learned a lot from him.

Helmut Hirner

wpe12.jpg (40509 Byte)

Helmut Hirner is a talented singer/songwriter/producer from Austria. Helmut asked me recently if I was interested in writing the lyrics for a ballad that he and Martin Pehaim had written. The song was supposed to be for a finalist of the British casting show X-Factor who lost his wife shortly after she gave birth to their baby daughter. Ray Bertram and I were both so emotionally touched by the story of the artist that we wrote the appropriate lyrics. The song is called "I Want You Back". Helmut's production team has written songs for artists like DJ Ötzi, who is extremely popular in some European countries. It was a great pleasure to work together with Helmut and I hope we can do similar projects together again in the future.

Charlie Hamilton Jr.

Chazz.jpg (42615 Byte)

Charlie Hamilton Jr. is a successful producer/engineer/songwriter from Cape Town South Africa. He is currently producing several bands and artists in his home country. Charlie produced last year's South African Pop Idol winner album which included a number one single.  They've just been nominated as best newcomer, best pop album and best engineer for the SAMA's which is comparable to the Grammy's.

I sent Charlie one of my instrumental tracks and that inspired him to write the song "Here It Goes Again". I enjoyed working with Charlie because he is very focussed at what he does. He works in a very professional manner and he is extremely good at what he does.

Theresa Bertram

wpe3.jpg (83829 Byte)

Theresa Bertram is a talented American singer. She used to work for a radio station in Arkansas. After years of not singing anymore I was able to convince her to give it another try - on an international production. She sang the lead vocals on "I Still See You There". She has now updated her recording equipement and I am looking forward to recording new songs together with her.

Cathy Wilson

Cathy_Wilson.jpg (5685 Byte)

Cathy Wilson is an extremely talented songwriter from the U.S. Cathy has been writing songs for many years and just recently a couple of her songs were professionally produced and her first CD called "Journeys" has now been released at CD Baby.com.  Another project that Cathy has contributed to is a compilation CD to promote awareness of adoption and foster care through the Melodical Hearts Foundation.

I had a tune lying around and collecting dust for years and Cathy helped me write some very cool lyrics for that song. I'm looking forward to collaborating with her in the future again.
